HomeBAGS Community Rules

1. Event Cancellation & NO-SHOW policy:

You must cancel your attendance at least 24 hours before an event if you can no longer attend. To help you plan, you will receive two courtesy email reminders: 7 days and 2 days prior to the event. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows prevent waitlisted members from attending, disrupt event timelines, and damage our group reputation with local establishments.

Penalties & Fees
  • Late Cancellation / No-Show Fee: A $10.00 penalty fee applies to cancellations under 24 hours or no-shows.
  • Account Freeze: Your account will be frozen instantly. You cannot register for new events until the fee is paid.
  • Emergency Appeals: If an emergency prevented you from notifying the Event Hostess, submit an appeal for a fee reversal to: support@bags50.com

2: Member Impromptu Events

Official BAGS events are managed by authorized Event Organizers to accommodate large group communication and vendor coordination. However, any subscribed member can host a Member Impromptu—a spontaneous get-together for the BAGS community. These informal gatherings must strictly adhere to the following community rules:
  • No Commercial Gain: The event must be completely free. You cannot charge fees or use the event to promote or financially benefit a business you own or work for.
  • Size Limitations: Gatherings requiring a venue reservation must be capped at 12 members. Larger groups must go through official BAGS Event Organizers.
  • Exclusive to Members: These events are strictly for active, active-status BAGS members.
  • Membership Penalty: Using BAGS tools, calendars, directories, or social channels to invite non-members or marketing to outside communities for your Member Impromptu Event will result in immediate membership termination.
  • Step-by-step instructions for creating a Member Impromptu can be accessed here: How To Create A Member Impromptu

3: Member Guest Participation

We love welcoming your loved ones to BAGS events! Guest eligibility depends entirely on where they live:
  • Out-of-Town Guests: If you have a friend or family member visiting from outside the area, email us at support@bags50.com. Depending on the event type, we will manually adjust the registration so you can sign them up.
  • Local Guests: Anyone living in the local Bradenton or Sarasota communities is not eligible for a standard guest pass. To attend an event, they must register themselves on the website as a Trial Member.
4: Facebook Group Guidelines

Our Facebook Group page is dedicated strictly to BAGS activities and positive community building.
    Approved Content
  • BAGS event updates, announcements, and recaps
  • Event photos and member spotlights
  • Community discussions and local recommendations
  • Approved volunteer and philanthropy opportunities
  • New member introductions
     Prohibited Content
  • Advertisements, personal fundraisers, and personal sales
  • Self-promotion or business marketing
  • Political or religious posts
  • Discussions regarding sensitive or controversial matters
Any post that is unrelated to BAGS or its members will be removed immediately.

5: Fundraisers & Volunteer Opportunities

We love supporting community projects, but we must vet all initiatives to respect member bandwidth and protect individual privacy.

    Approval Process
  • Pre-Approval Required: All fundraisers and volunteer opportunities must be approved before being shared on the website or Facebook group.
  • How to Submit: Email your request to our Director of Community Outreach (DCO) at outreach@bags50.com for vetting.
  • Limited Slots: We cannot approve every request. Priority is given to official BAGS philanthropy projects.
    Photo & Privacy Policy
  • Dignity First: Taking photos of community members in need is strictly prohibited to protect their privacy and dignity.
  • Authorized Media Only: Only the DCO, the organization's designated staff, or members with explicit written permission from both the venue and the subjects may take photos at volunteer events
6: Community Culture & Kindness

BAGS is a Drama-Free Zone designed exclusively to uplift, support, and empower women. To maintain a welcoming environment focused on fun, friendships, and fellowship, all members must adhere to our behavioral standards:

    Forum & Social Media Rules
  • Zero Negativity: Any comments that spark arguments, tear down other women, or breed negativity on our website forums or Facebook Group Page will be deleted immediately.
  • Kindness is Mandatory: Treat every member with baseline respect.
    In-Person Event Topics
  • Prohibited Subjects: To keep the focus on positive connection, we ask that you do not discuss politics, religion, vaccination status, or other divisive, controversial subject matters at events.
    Consequences
  • Repeated or egregious violations of these guidelines will result in membership termination.
7: Zero Tolerance for Hate Speech & Bullying

We are committed to ensuring that every woman feels physically and emotionally safe within BAGS. We celebrate the diverse backgrounds our members bring to the community and enforce a zero-tolerance policy for discriminatory behavior.

    Prohibited Conduct
  • Bullying: Any form of targeted harassment, intimidation, or personal attacks.
  • Degrading Comments: Any form of disparaging remarks regarding a member's race, religion, culture, politics, or sexual orientation.
    Consequences
  • Any violation of this safety policy will bypass warnings and can result in immediate membership termination.

8: Commercial Promotion & Spam

We operate on a "give more than you take" philosophy. Unsolicited marketing, spam, and irrelevant links are strictly prohibited on the BAGS Facebook Group Page.

    Approved Business Placement
  • Services & Businesses: Must be listed exclusively in the website Business Directory. This listing is an exclusive privilege for active members.
  • Hiring Opportunities: Job openings must be posted solely in the "Job Opportunities" Forum.
    Direct Solicitation & Penalties
  • Prohibited Directory Use: You may never use the Member Directory to harvest contact details or privately message members to pitch your business.
  • Immediate Termination: This policy is strictly enforced. Any reported incident of using our community directories for unsolicited business solicitation will result in immediate membership cancellation.

9: Mutual Trust & Data Privacy

BAGS relies on mutual trust to remain a safe space for women. To protect our community, we enforce strict internal privacy standards alongside bank-grade digital security:

    Confidentiality Rule
  • What Happens Here, Stays Here: Anything shared or discussed within our private website or official Facebook Group Page must remain strictly confidential. Do not share members' personal stories or information outside of the group.
    Website & Payment Security
  • SSL Certified: Our platform is fully SSL Certified, meaning all connection data, passwords, and personal details entered on our site are heavily encrypted and locked against outside hackers. Website administrators do not have access to your banking information.
  • No Information Selling: Your personal details are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
  • Payment Processing Exception: Data is only shared with trusted standard operational entities—such as our secure merchant processor—solely to handle your membership dues or merchandise purchases.

10. Policy for Pausing Your Membership (Temporary Freeze)

We understand that many of our members travel or reside elsewhere for parts of the year or may face unexpected health changes. To accommodate our travelers and medical needs while maintaining a stable system, we have established the following guidelines for temporarily pausing your automatic monthly billing:

  • Minimum and Maximum Limits: Membership pauses are only permitted for a minimum of three (3) consecutive months and a maximum of six (6) consecutive months. To prevent administrative complexity, short-term pausing for just a month at a time is not allowed, and members cannot repeatedly pause and un-pause their accounts throughout the year. Because our organization is billed based on our database size, we cannot support open-ended, long-term freezes. If you need to pause for more than six months, your membership will close, but you can always rejoin later!"
  • What a Pause Means for You: While your monthly billing is frozen, your ClubExpress website login privileges and active member benefits will be temporarily suspended. However, your account history, profile data, and membership longevity status will remain completely intact in our system.
  • Membership Pauses & Reactivation: To pause your billing, you must submit a written request to our administrator team at support@bags50.com at least 10 days before your next scheduled billing date. When you are ready to return, simply email a written reactivation request to the same address; our team will immediately restore your website access and resume your automatic monthly billing cycle.

11. Membership Cancellation

If you decide that you need to end your membership entirely rather than pausing it, you can cancel your account at any time directly through your online member profile.

  • Immediate Effect: Canceling your membership stops all future automatic monthly billing cycles immediately.
  • Loss of Benefits: Upon cancellation, you will lose access to the member-only sections of the website and all group benefits at the end of your current paid monthly cycle.
  • How to Cancel Online:
    1. Log into your account at bags50.com.
    2. Click on your name in the top right corner to open your Member Profile.
    3. Scroll down to the Account History or More Member Options section.
    4. Select Privacy / Cancel / Remove.
    5. Click Cancel My Membership and confirm your choice.
